🔄 Returns & Refunds Policy – PowerBanks.ie

We want you to shop with confidence. This policy explains how returns and refunds work for orders delivered within Republic of Ireland.


🇮🇪 Ireland Returns (Change of Mind)

  • You can request a return within 31 days of delivery.

  • Items must be returned with all accessories and in good condition.
  • You may open the packaging to inspect the item, but if the item has been handled/used beyond what’s necessary to check it, we may reduce the refund to reflect any loss in value.

⚠️ Faulty, Damaged, or Incorrect Items

  • If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or you received the wrong item, contact us and we’ll arrange a replacement, repair, or refund as appropriate.
  • Where a return is needed due to a fault/damage, we will cover the return shipping cost.
  • All goods sold to consumers include a minimum 2-year legal guarantee for faults that aren’t caused by misuse or accidental damage. :contentReference

Safety note: Do not post back any power bank that is swollen, leaking, punctured, or visibly damaged. Email us for safe handling instructions.


🔁 How to Request a Return

  1. Email us at hello@powerbanks.ie with:
    • Your order number
    • The item(s) you want to return
    • Reason for return (change of mind / faulty / damaged / wrong item)
  2. We’ll reply with return instructions and the return address.
  3. Once received and inspected, we’ll process your refund or replacement.

💳 Refunds

  • Refunds are issued back to your original payment method.
  • We aim to process refunds within 3–5 working days after receiving and checking the return.
  • For statutory cancellations, refunds must be issued no later than 14 days after you cancel, and we may wait until the goods are returned (or you provide proof of return).

📦 Return Shipping Costs

  • Change-of-mind returns: you cover the cost of return postage.
  • Faulty/damaged/wrong item: we cover return postage (where a return is required).

Note: under EU rules, customers usually pay return postage during the cooling-off period unless the seller agrees to cover it or failed to inform them beforehand.


🌍 International / Custom Orders

We do not offer standard international checkout. If we agree a custom international order by email, returns may be handled case-by-case due to shipping restrictions and costs.
